Photo Diary Of Central Bagno A Ripoli, Tuscany

Because of where we live in the southeast edge of Florence, we often walk or bike over into the quaint commune of Bagno A Ripoli. There isn’t a ton to do in this quiet area; however, you it does have its draws for a lazy, sunny Saturday. I’ve enjoyed walking along the pretty streets, and if you walk up the hills high enough, you’ll get great views into central Florence. We mostly head over to Bagno A Ripoli on the weekend for the great playground and the nearby Vitali gelateria, which has an amazing marshmallow topping. If you hit the center of the town on the right weekend, you might get to eat the best frittelle in all of Florence, enjoy an olive oil festival, or catch a horse race.
