Yummy Brunch In Florence, Italy: Ditta Artigianale Sprone

Though we don't make it out to eat too often in Florence, we celebrated Father's Day with a bike ride over to Ditta Artigianale on Via dello Sprone near the Pitti Palace, where we enjoyed a great brunch. If you happen to be looking for a brunch or lunch spot in Florence that serves food all day, this is a great spot (also check out these other options for all-day dining)! It is also conveniently located just by the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, and Ponte Santa Trinita, making it walkable to great nearby sightseeing.

Brunch at Ditta Artigianale Sprone

Brunch is served at Ditta Artigianale from 9 am till 5 pm each day, and with a glance at their current menu online, I'd guess that they change their menu frequently. Though not currently on the online menu, we enjoyed a full Ditta breakfast, consisting of scrambled eggs, cured meats, yogurt, toast, jam, and a small salad with a ball of fresh mozzarella. It was very yummy, and two orders was the perfect size shared among the three of us. We also ordered a black filtered coffee and a cappuccino, and both were perfect, which sadly isn't always the case in Italy (or the U.S., for that matter).

Now that we're back in Florence, I'm itching to return to Ditta Artigianale on Via Sprone to try their lunch offerings and baked goods!

Ditta Artigianale on Via Sprone also seems to be a great place to work, as it offers ample seating on its two floors, sells tasty coffee and treats, and offers free Wi-Fi. I'm definitely planning to try it out once the school year starts and my work hours return to normal.

Note though that I'm only suggesting the Ditta Artigianale on Via dello Sprone because I found the customer service to be really terrible at the Ditta Via dei Neri!
