Open Kitchen - Year Two

Monday, June 1, 2015

I love outdoor festivals of any type, so last fall I was all about Open Kitchen Vilnius that took place each Friday until it got too cold. I even featured it in my first #CreativeLithuania post. Open Kitchen Vilnius finally resumed in mid-May and I was sure to head to opening day (and each Friday after!). Open Kitchen takes some of the wonderful things about Vilnius - the gorgeous spring weather, the good food, and the plentiful parks - and makes it into the perfect afternoon hangout.

This year, Open Kitchen reopened with newfound energy. The organizers now provide picnic benches and umbrellas. There are also many more vendors and food trucks than before, so I guess the word has really gotten out! I hope to continue seeing this wonderful event grow each week. Not to mention that I want to continue trying food and drink from different local businesses.

Do you like outdoor food festivals? What are the best festivals that I should try?
