We are back from our sunny stay in Athens and I cannot wait to share more about our trip soon!
But first, I'm going to finish up chatting about Tallinn, by proposing something wild- get out of the Old Town and see more of the city! While in Tallinn I was able to meet the lovely Laura who blogs over at Light House Diary. It was great to meet you, Laura! On her suggestion, I headed over to the Kalamaja District, which is only just outside of the Old Town and is right on the water (easy!). It is here where you will find traditional wooden houses and hipster cafes. Though I only spent a few short hours wandering the Kalamaja District, I was instantly reminded of the Uzupis Republic in Vilnius, which is also home to hipsters and a more gritty atmosphere.
In addition to the cool wood houses and cafes, you'll find the Teleskivi Creative City, which is a large industrial space that houses shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. I really, really wanted to visit the Teleskivi Creative City, but unfortunately gave up after searching for it for over an hour. Bummer! It should have been easy to find, but because the building is not labeled and I didn't have the exact street number I wasn't exactly sure which building it was. Now that I'm looking at their website, I think I walked past it twice! Ah well, sometimes in search ofs are unsuccessful.

If you've been to Teleskivi Creative City and have written about it please share in the comments below. I would love to read more about it!
