Eating out in Tallinn Estonia

Before writing any more about things to do in Tallinn, I wanted to share my awesome restaurant find. After an early morning flight and full day of walking around Tallinn I decided to treat myself to a much fancier dinner than I would normally go for. J was doing his work thing, so I snuck off to have solo dinner at Ribe in the Tallinn Old Town. Instantly upon entering the restaurant a waitress took my coat and let me have my pick of seats. Wow- such a difference in attention compared to many restaurants in Vilnius, LT. After ordering drinks I was treated (for free!) to a free pre-appetizer of small cubes of ham (I think) topped with crispy (fried I think) spinach. Free food - the ultimate way to my heart! Shortly after the pre-appetizer I was given some homemade bread, which I ate with my pumpkin salad. Again, delicious! Next up, my main course - lamb with potatoes and that same crispy spinach. My meal at Ribe was the most delicious thing I've eaten in a long time. If you happen to be visiting Tallinn I suggest that you eat at Ribe!

The Details: Ribe Restaurant is located in the Tallinn Old Town on Vene 7 (near the Town Hall Square) and is open Monday through Saturday from 12 pm to 11 pm. Main courses cost between 10 and 20 Euros.

What is the most delicious thing you've eaten recently?
