Travel Month: March 2015

Monday, March 30, 2015

March really flew by in a whirlwind of work, some local in search ofs, and a quick visit to Tallinn, Estonia. Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable month! Some highlights included an amazing wander around the Tallinn Old Town, the Kaziukas festival in Vilnius (my favorite!), and a visit to George and the Dragon. J and I were also introduced to a decent Chinese restaurant in Vilnius, which is great news after our terrible experience in late 2013. Other than that, it is still pretty chilly here in March, but spring weather keeps making an appearance (crossing my fingers that it stays put soon!).

How was your March? What are your plans for April?

    1. I'm absolutely ready for spring as well (mostly because I'm really tired of tights, long pants, and winter coats). I need to shed some layers!

  3. I love that first picture, where each building is a different color. Must be a pretty place to wander! We had a very quiet March, which I was happy about after all the travel and general busyness surrounding Chinese New Year.

    1. Thank you - it was a beautiful place to photograph! The Chinese New Year is always so busy - it is perfect to follow with a relaxing month.

  4. It looks picture book perfect, and that pizza! April for us is relatively quiet when it comes to travel, we are going back to the UK on Wednesday for a week, and hopefully to Budapest at the end of the month. We shall see! :)

  5. Sounds like a lovely March - a good way to beat the gray blahs that can rear their heads in early Spring in this part of the planet!
